Ecauses: the start of a local nptech community?

A new Chinese website called Ecauses (E惠社) promises to be "a community focused on internet usage in the nonprofit sector". In addition to featuring a collaborative blog, Ecauses can also be found microblogging at Sina and Twitter, and welcomes anyone with an interest to join in the discussion at Douban or Google Groups.

Ecauses plans to provide Chinese commentary and translations of nonprofit technology trends from overseas, as well as news from China, including the growing interest by commercial Chinese internet companies in social causes. Translation is done by volunteers, organized via an NPOTECH group at the collaborative translation website Yeeyan (unfortunately offline at the moment).
